POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented E-Commerce Merchandiser to join our remote-first, fast-growing team at HostGPO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify, with an eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling online shopping experiences. You will own the end-to-end merchandising process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new collections, optimize product pages, and drive conversion. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy, proactive individual to make a significant impact on our e-commerce success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the end-to-end merchandising process across our Shopify storefront(s) — from setting up new products to optimizing collections, filters, and landing pages.
- Use automation/AI tools to streamline content generation, personalization, and testing.
- Collaborate with our marketing, product, and vendor teams to launch new collections that tell a compelling story and convert.
- Manage site content updates, product descriptions, image optimization, and tagging — all with an eye toward SEO and shopper behavior.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable merchandising systems and documentation as the catalog and team grow.
- Analyze shopper behavior, funnel drop-off, and conversion performance to test and iterate on product placements and promotions.
- Stay on the bleeding edge of e-commerce trends — from AI-generated imagery to headless commerce experiments.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify and fluent in configuring robust product catalogs
- Solid grasp of e-commerce best practices, UX, and conversion optimization.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility — you don't need to be a designer, but you know what looks good and what sells.
- Data-savvy: confident using analytics tools to inform decisions and excels in spreadsheets; working with large amounts of product data across multiple vendor catalogs.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
Bonus
Quarterly bonus based on company performance. OTE of $85,000-$100,000
