POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a serious, disciplined, and strategic professional to join us as a Full-Time, Remote Director of Revenue Management. This critical leadership role ensures optimal financial performance across our portfolio of vacation rental properties.

You will develop and execute data-driven pricing strategies, oversee inventory management, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent growth and profitability. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will work closely with marketing, sales, and operations to align strategies while maintaining an unwavering commitment to accuracy, high-quality outcomes, and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market conditions, demand fluctuations, and competitor performance.
  • Oversee inventory management across all booking channels to maximize occupancy and revenue per available rental (RevPAR).
  • Lead forecasting efforts and set revenue targets for the short- and long-term, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Analyze booking data, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities for revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance promotional efforts, seasonal pricing strategies, and yield management.
  • Monitor and adjust strategies for different property types and markets, ensuring tailored approaches for each segment.
  • Manage and report on key performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and total revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners, including OTAs, property management systems, and distribution channels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of revenue management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Additional duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in revenue management or pricing, preferably within the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus, but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software, pricing tools, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic pricing and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
