Welcome to sojo, the vacation rental industry's first amenity automation platform. We connect to property managers' reservation calendars to automate ordering, storing, and kitting guest amenities – from the bathroom and laundry to the kitchen and pantry.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in the dynamic short-term vacation rental industry. As the Director of Marketing, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth, increase brand awareness, and generate leads. This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in B2B SaaS marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation initiatives through various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, events, and partnerships.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and manage a content strategy that resonates with our target audience, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and other collateral.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, paid advertising, social media, and marketing automation.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, collateral, and training programs.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide regular reporting and analysis to executive leadership.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives, including market positioning, product messaging, and demand generation.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand strategy and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least five years of experience in a senior marketing role.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive results.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation and staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in SaaS marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 

Bonus Details: Bonus opportunities up to $25,000

Location: This position will require some travel to our headquarters in Nashville, TN, and some trade shows, but otherwise, it can be remote work from anywhere in the four time zones of the lower 48 US states.
