POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Director of Finance and Accounting, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the company’s financial health and stability. You’ll take ownership of financial operations, from managing profit and loss to refining processes and ensuring regulatory compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee profit and loss management, payroll, and HR-related financial processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including sales and occupancy taxes.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Create, analyze, and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Enhance financial systems and processes for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of strategies for market expansion and business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in lodging, hospitality, real estate, or property management.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other financial tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory requirements, including tax filings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proven experience in team management, including mentoring and driving professional growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: based on performance

Schedule: Monday through Friday availability with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required. Must be able to work on-site as necessary.
