THE ROLE:

We're hiring a Digital Marketing & Brand Specialist who can own and elevate our online presence, increase direct bookings, and build long-term brand awareness. This person will play a pivotal role in building and sharpening our brand identity and strategy as we scale. If you’re a strategic thinker with a proven background in brand building, executing digital marketing campaigns, and hospitality marketing within the U.S., and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty to grow a brand—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

YOU'LL BE FOCUSED ON:

  1. Direct Booking Growth
  • Develop and implement digital campaigns (social, SEO, email, web) that drive traffic to our direct booking site.
  • Strategize with leadership on promotions, landing pages, and guest incentives.
  • Help us reduce reliance on OTAs by targeting a 50%+ direct booking ratio.
  1. Brand Awareness & Brand Strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and refine our brand compass, values, voice, and positioning.
  • Craft and execute a U.S.-focused brand strategy tailored to short-term rental guests and property owners.
  • Write clear, creative content that aligns with our mission and amplifies awareness across target audiences.
  • Tell compelling visual and written stories to build trust and emotional connection with our audience.
  • Maintain a robust content calendar that reinforces consistency and elevates our brand presence.
  1. Digital Marketing Execution & Influencer Collaboration
  • Plan, create, and schedule content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Launch and track campaigns that increase reach, engagement, and bookings.
  • Identify and engage with influencers, travel bloggers, and brand partners to expand visibility.
  • Monitor performance and trends across digital channels, adjusting tactics to optimize results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the brand-building process and help shape how UPKEY shows up online and in-market.
  • Develop and manage multi-channel digital marketing initiatives.
  • Write/edit engaging blog posts, property descriptions, captions, and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure all efforts align with company goals.
  • Track social/media metrics and provide reporting that translates into next steps.
  • Support occasional email marketing, promotional campaigns, and reputation management.

QUALIFICATIONS - What you Bring to the Table 

  • 2+ years of experience with digital marketing and demonstrated experience building brands from the ground up, including defining brand identity, strategy, and voice.
  • Proven success increasing brand awareness for hospitality providers within the U.S. market and track record of increasing direct bookings
  • Strong written communication and a keen eye for brand voice and visual consistency.
  • Hands-on experience executing digital marketing campaigns through social media, SEO, and email.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Mailchimp, and Instagram/Facebook/TikTok scheduling.
  • Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Bonus: Experience working with travel/lifestyle brands and influencers in the short-term rental space.

Portfolio Required: We will require a portfolio showcasing hospitality brand-building work (e.g., content samples, campaigns, visuals, or strategy docs). Bonus if you include links to social media profiles you've managed.
