POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a seasoned sales professional looking for a role beyond the same old sales jobs?

As a part of our focus on relationships, Smedley Law Group is looking to hire a Customer Service Coordinator and Sales professional for our family law firm in Gloucester County.

Taking on this role is extremely important as you will serve as the "voice" and first point of contact for potential clients, with the understanding that sales are the lifeblood of the firm.

This role is designed for you if you have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, exceptional communication skills, and the empathy to help clients through one of their life's most stressful times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Speak with potential clients, determine the particular issues they are facing, and effectively communicate that the firm is the best choice to resolve those issues.
  • Articulate the value of our services and effectively overcome objections, including addressing the consultation fee.
  • Build rapport with potential clients and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other staff to seamlessly transition from initial contact to client engagement.
  • Follow up with potential clients who did not book a consultation or did not retain after consulting with us, with the goal of converting those individuals to retention.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of client interactions and follow-up activities in our system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the legal industry or a related field.
  • Strong objection-handling skills, including confidence in asking questions to overcome objections that arise during a call with a potential new client.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Basic administrative skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Warm, empathetic, and able to manage emotional clients while maintaining a friendly demeanor and emphasizing customer service.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $40,000 - $65,000 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Bonuses are achieved upon reaching your sales target.
