Our company owns and manages high-end vacation residential rental properties within several states. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our high-end vacation homes. They will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards and that our guests receive exceptional service during their stay.

We will rely on your industry experience and expertise to proactively manage our vacation residential rental properties including, managing reservations across multiple platforms, excellent customer service skills, overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing and attracting traffic to our website, and being responsible for enhancing rental revenues, drafting annual marketing plan and manage financial results and budgeting plan.

Other significant responsibilities will include enhancing rentals days and minimizing cancelations, controlling operating expenses while maintaining a strong relationship with critical vendors in each market, budgeting and monitoring quarterly rental days, and creating quarterly industry standard KPIs and other critical data that can be used for the owner to make strategic financial decisions.

Additionally, you will be required to travel monthly in-person to all the properties on rotation. We will need you to be committed to ensuring the homes you are responsible for, align with our brand promises at all times and do nothing less than your best to achieve it.

  • Proactively manage reservation bookings within a timely response frame
  • Day-to-day customer service: rental inquiries, maintenance, guest assistance
  • Manage Vendors: cleaners, handypersons, contractors, etc.
  • Managing cash flow; rental revenues, expenses, capital expenditures, and debt service
  • Project management of capital expenditures, residential improvements, and acquisition
  • Annual budget predictions and monitoring monthly operating cash flows while explaining variances with a plan to resolve issues and overspending and negative impacts to cash flow while working closely with accountants and the banking team
  • In-person property visits on rotation monthly
  • Develop and maintain a strategic marketing plan and maintaining the website to enhance traffic and guests’ experiences
  • Continuously strengthen the brand and high-end vacation residential rental experiences
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of vacation homes.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of vendors, including property managers, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure that all properties are properly maintained and meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Develop and implement guest service standards to ensure that guests have an exceptional experience during their stay.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of vacation homes to ensure profitability and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the owner and his professional, including the lenders of the owner to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the company.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior management roles in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Annual Salary: $100,000

  • This is a remote position where you’ll need to be available during regular business hours, with weekend availability and a monthly rotation of 2-3 day property visits.
