POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring for the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). If you can strategically orchestrate the execution of big ideas, you could be the right person for the job. As a

collaborator with our CEO and management team, you will be on the frontline of driving the firm’s growth and continued success in family law practice.

Each day, your mission as COO will be to create order, improve efficiency, and execute the overall vision for the firm. You will oversee our daily operations, implement and improve firm processes, and track growth strategies. We’ll also rely on you to use your leadership skills to foster an empowered and collaborative atmosphere.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations, including management of information systems, office services, equipment, and facilities to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures; document these processes for clarity and continual improvement.
  • Set and achieve comprehensive performance goals in collaboration with the team, holding members accountable for agreed-upon objectives.
  • Participate in strategic planning with the CEO and coordinate closely with the Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments to align goals and strategies and meet financial targets and client retention objectives.
  • Enhance productivity and efficiency among billable staff and assist in executing additional business ventures as directed by the CEO.
  • Take charge of hiring, discipline, and firing of staff; work to recruit individuals that mirror the firm's values and build out collateral practice areas.
  • Execute the CEO’s vision for transforming the firm into a concierge-style law firm, focusing on client-centric services and innovative growth strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success in roles such as Integrator, General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, or similar, with a strong track record of effective leadership.
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a knack for identifying and cultivating rising talent.
  • Ability to effectively switch between strategic vision and daily tactical operations, ensuring smooth management transitions.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics (experience in a law firm is a plus but not required.)
  • Proven execution mindset with a consistent record of holding team members accountable for results.
  • An understanding of organizational culture and the capability to nurture a healthy work environment.
  • Diverse experience across multiple business functions, including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales, is highly valued.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: TBD
