As a Cashier at The Smokehouse on Cape San Blas, you’ll play an important part in ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and eager to return. You will be our guests' first point of contact, providing exceptional service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As well as processing orders and payments, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area.
Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, taking food orders in person and over the phone, assisting the kitchen with food delivery, bussing tables, and performing general cleaning tasks. Within our front-of-house team, we’ll rely on your involvement in assisting with side duties to maintain the restaurant's operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome guests with a positive attitude
- Take food orders both in person and over the phone
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist the kitchen by delivering food orders to tables
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Perform general cleaning tasks to uphold sanitation standards
- Complete associated front-of-house side work as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $12 + Tips

Schedule: Open seven days a week. Shifts will be available on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
