We're looking for the right person to step into the creative, collaborative, and rewarding role of our Business Development Representative. This role needs someone who can blend marketing tools with strategic sales outreach strategies to develop new business opportunities.

  • Manage inbound inquiries, source leads from existing databases, and qualify leads from marketing initiatives.
  • Engage prospects through cold calls, email sequencing, and personalized ABM (Account Based Marketing) outreach, including event follow-ups and sample kit requests.
  • Identify client needs, document those needs accurately in our CRM, and set up meetings and calls between prospective and existing clients and sojo account executives.
  • Forge and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with potential clients.
  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing, sales, operations, and external agencies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Consistently update sales leadership on sales outcomes and maintain awareness of product updates and pricing shifts.


  • Prior experience as a BDR or in a similar B2B sales role, preferably in the vacation rental industry.
  • Mastery in email sequencing, cold calling, and pipeline management with a track record of hitting KPI quotas.
  • 2+ years with CRM software (HubSpot a plus) and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, Zoom, Slack, and LinkedIn.
  • Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of key sales performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to deliver engaging presentations to operating staff and decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to forge and nurture relationships, from initial touchpoints to hand-offs.


Annual Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 base with OTE $92,000

Bonus: Incentive pay is determined by the number of scheduled demos/appointments. Additional bonuses, based on team performance, may also be awarded. These bonuses are typically linked to quarterly company goals or projects. Incentive pay has the potential to add an extra $ 1,000 per month, while team bonuses range from $ 2,500 to $ 5,000 per quarter.
