This is a remote position and can be conducted out of your home as long as you have a quiet, dedicated place to conduct business and a fast, stable internet connection. You also must be based in the United States.

Position Summary:

RueBaRue is pleased to announce that we are hiring a Business Development Representative to help us grow. As a BDR, you have the unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of our company.  You’ll accomplish this by bringing in new customers and guiding them through every step of the process, from sign-up and learning to use our product to implementing the new tools we introduce and devising ways to use our multifaceted platform. We’re seeking an active listener with a compelling sales personality and a hunger to chase and close new business, from cold calls to warm leads. You must be a good communicator who is comfortable consulting with a variety of customers across the United States, who can learn and adapt quickly and who is self-motivated, reliable and energetic.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and follow leads to cultivate new customers
  • Connect with organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Handle a large volume of networking and lead generation while following through on established leads
  • Maintain knowledge, skills and market awareness of industry trends and standards
  • Work with customers to manage their successful use of our product, from sign-up and training to implementation
  • Become a trusted advisor to our customers
  • Act as a product expert, customer advocate and liaison between customers and RueBaRue’s development team to translate business requirements into product enhancements
  • Conduct monthly proactive customer outreach to review usage and assess overall satisfaction
  • Support sales by giving demos to prospective customers
  • Travel to industry conferences to give product demos
  • Help upgrade training documents on the RueBaRue website
  • Manage customer data in CRM
  • Run periodic webinars
  • Collect customer feedback

 

Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in sales
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to generate leads, built trust and close deals with prospects over the phone and in person
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and self-sufficiency with the confidence to seek out guidance and direction as needed
  • Ability to be proactive, handle uncertainty and flourish with minimal guidance
  • Solid computer skills including experience with cloud computing programs
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving start-up environment while keeping a positive attitude and a smile
  • Strong interpersonal skills for initiating and building positive relationships
  • Ability to set and exceed aggressive individual and organizational goals
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
