POSITION SUMMARY:

Get out from behind your desk and put your sales skills to work as our Miami Business Development Representative. This role requires someone who can blend marketing research with sales outreach strategies to develop new business opportunities.

As our Business Development Representative, you’ll spend much of your time on the road, visiting designated work areas to build business relationships with restoration and insurance companies, public adjusters, and homeowners who have recently experienced water, fire, mold, or bio loss at their houses.

In this position, you will be responsible for lead generation, handling client relationships, closing deals, and doing market research. This means it will be vital for you to have an outgoing, positive attitude that thrives on meeting targets and thinking outside the box.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and research potential clients in the Home Insurance industry (contractors, carriers, public adjusters).
  • Active participation in sponsored events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Present and promote our services to prospective clients.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations to close deals.
  • Collaborate with the other departments to meet and exceed customers' expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Provide feedback to the team on market dynamics and potential opportunities.
  • Using our internal CRM system, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and submit reports on sales activities, progress and forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with home insurance claims is a plus.
  • Able to speak a second language (preferably Portuguese or Spanish) is also a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Sales commissions
