POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Business Development Manager at Fieldtrip, you will play a key role in driving our luxury vacation rental expansion and partnership development. Your mission is to lead sales initiatives, expand the premium property portfolio, and strengthen our market presence.

In this key position, you will be responsible to: 

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans: Use your strategic approach to identify and secure new business opportunities within the luxury short-term rental market.
  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish long-term collaborations by connecting with potential partners, investors, and high-end clientele.
  • Lead Negotiations and Sales Process Management: From prospecting to closing deals, you’ll ensure that every step aligns with our brand’s luxury standards and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with our teams to integrate new properties and services into our portfolio, enhancing the overall guest experience and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and new opportunities for business development.
  • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships to drive business growth and bring new luxury homes into our portfolio.
  • Generate leads through various channels including networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and surpass targets.
  • Engage with high-end clientele, presenting our tailored solutions that align with their needs.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals, contributing to the expansion of our luxury portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless integration of new properties and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a top performer in the luxury short-term rental (STR) industry as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar, with a focus on portfolio and market expansion.
  • Adept at cold calling, prospecting, and presenting to sophisticated, high-end clients.
  • Strong initiative, with a "grit" factor, and the ability to drive results in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility to travel to Los Angeles, CA as needed to meet with potential clients.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $170,000 OTE (includes base + commission)

Bonus: Uncapped commission opportunity from new contracts signed with Fieldtrip.
