POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Business Development Manager at Cozi Vacation Rentals, you will be a key driver of our growth in the Texas Hill Country. Your persuasive sales skills, strategic mindset, and relentless drive will be essential in identifying, pursuing, and closing new partnership opportunities with vacation rental property owners. You will thrive on the excitement of securing new business, leveraging your strong communication and relationship-building abilities to convert cold leads into long-term partners. By positioning CoziVR as the premier choice for property owners, you will play a critical role in our continued success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads and follow-ups diligently.
- Conduct daily cold calls, emails, and in-person visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Attend real estate events, networking functions, and industry conferences to establish relationships and drive leads.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to realtors, investors, and property owners.
- Provide potential partners with market insights, pro forma projections, and data-driven reports.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads to keep them engaged and moving through the pipeline.
- Negotiate and close deals with vacation rental property owners.
- Serve as the face of Cozi’s sales team at our Fredericksburg, TX office.
- Conduct on-site meetings with property owners to discuss partnership opportunities.
- Evaluate potential properties to ensure they align with Cozi’s quality standards.
- Offer expert recommendations on property upgrades, rental potential, and market positioning.
- Travel throughout Texas Hill Country weekly to build relationships and prospect new properties.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor strategies, and real estate developments.
- Cultivate relationships with realtors and local businesses to create referral streams.
- Work closely with the Director of Partnerships to refine sales strategies and optimize conversion rates.
- Utilize CRM tools to track, analyze, and report on sales performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, real estate, hospitality, or vacation rentals.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong cold outreach skills (calls, emails, and in-person visits).
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills—capable of converting leads into signed contracts.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to generate leads independently.
- Ability to manage multiple leads while prioritizing high-value opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tracking, and lead management.
- Experience in real estate, short-term rentals, or hospitality sales is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (Base + Commission Structure)
Gas Stipend: $400/month
Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM CST
