POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Business Development Manager at eviivo, you will be a key player in driving our success in the North American market. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing a target list of ideal customers in the hotel and vacation rental industries. You will utilize your persuasive skills and industry knowledge to conduct tailored sales demonstrations, showcasing how our property management software can meet the unique needs of each prospect. Through a consultative sales approach, you will uncover and prioritize customer pain points, enabling you to present solutions that deliver measurable business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Territory development and the ability to define and manage a target list to match the ideal customer profile.  This includes keeping abreast of current industry trends, market activities, and competitors, along with working closely with our SDR's
  • Prepare, tailor, and conduct sales demonstrations to illustrate how our property management software can meet customer needs
  • Lead a structured discovery process to uncover and prioritize customer needs, enabling tailored solutions that drive measurable business value
  • Accurately document prospect details, deal strategy, and final terms in CRM to ensure all information is current and clearly presented. Proactively learn and master CRM tools and company policies to support effective selling.  Self-motivated to constantly learn in order to become an expert in industry practices, CRM and company policies.
  • Drive and organize responses to RFPs, including the preparation of personalized informative business proposals in the absence of a formal RFP process.
  • Set clear expectations with customers and ensure they fully understand next steps, timelines, and commitments required for a smooth and successful activation.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for larger customers by working closely with the Onboarding and Customer Service teams to ensure a timely and successful go-live. Step in as needed to keep projects on track and customers aligned with agreed timelines, and/or coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and implement targeted and effective email campaigns or webinars, as required with the Country Manager and the US Marketing Team
  • Ensure optimum sales performance and achieve the company's overall objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are a hunter at heart and have a proven 4 – 5 year track record in developing territories or a network in the hotel or vacation rental industries
  • Successful history in direct/quota-carrying sale
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and ideally based in Austin
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • University Bachelor's degree required
  • Track record in understanding how software is best used to support or change operational processes in the Hotel or Vacation Rental industry, acquired through a prior role selling or marketing another PMS, or via an operational role, a Hotel or PMC (heavily software-based)
  • High-energy and self-motivated to meet and exceed target
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (clear speaking voice, excellent grammar)
  • You pay attention to details and can quickly learn and adapt.  Ability to absorb a lot of information quickly and accurately.  A strong desire to learn more
  • Highly agile with the ability to stay organized and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proficient with common office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Chrome, CRM)
