POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Bookkeeping Assistant at PMI Aspire in Longmont, you'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Strong attention to detail, solid organizational habits, and effective time management are essential in this position. You’ll work closely with our team to process accounts payable and receivable, manage daily deposits, and maintain accurate ledgers—using your understanding of GAAP and experience with property management software.
This role also involves regular communication with owners and residents, so great client service skills are a must. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your day and is comfortable taking on administrative tasks and special projects as they come up, we’d love to have you on board.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily processing and accurate accounting of accounts payable and receivable
- Daily deposits into bank accounts
- Researching and updating owner & resident ledgers
- Updating spreadsheets and trackers as needed
- Owner and resident communications
- Ad hoc projects and administrative duties that may arise
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of accounting or bookkeeping experience (includes education) required
- General knowledge of GAAP
- Experience in AppFolio or similar property management software
- Experience with data entry processes
- Customer service experience preferred
- Experience with trust accounting and accounts receivable preferred
- Experience in property management or real estate preferred
- Associates or higher degree in accounting or finance preferred
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $20 - $25
