POSITION SUMMARY:

Growth and opportunity are in your future if you have a firm handle on what it takes to lead an efficient and motivated team. We’re currently seeking the right person to step into a very hands-on position as the Bar General Manager in Orlando’s premiere experiential bar - Cocktails and Screams.

When guests come to our establishment, they expect to be immersed in our Halloween-themed experience. In order to provide the best service possible, our General Manager must have a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests and behind-the-scenes developing team members.

In this role, your day-to-day will entail greeting guests, troubleshooting any issues that arise, scheduling and training new hires, ordering and managing bar inventory, and conducting team meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engages with the team members and the guests.
  • Maintains a strong presence in the bar and front door in order to ensure the guests are well taken care of and steps of service are being executed.
  • Oversees learning and development of hourly team
  • Organizes scheduling for team members
  • Responsible for team development by interviewing and hiring front-of-house team members to maintain staffing goals
  • Manages bar inventory and ordering
  • Conducts inventory of wine, liquor, and beer bi-weekly in a team effort

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Team management: 1 year (Required)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (Required)
  • Bar/Restaurant experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Leadership: 1 year (Required)
