POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re building a solid team that takes pride in maintaining the finest vacation homes in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, California. Now, we’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Assistant Property Manager who’s ready to assist with the day-to-day operations and activities of our beautiful properties.

As Assistant Property Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring each property is maintained to the highest standard and that our guests' experiences are second to none. Your responsibilities will span various operational areas, including guest communications, property maintenance, and administrative duties. You’ll love this role if you have a knack for marketing and enjoy creating promotional content.

A typical day might start with you conducting property inspections to ensure each vacation home meets our high standards, followed by coordinating with service providers to address any maintenance needs. You'll also spend time interacting with guests, managing reservations, responding to inquiries, helping with marketing, and going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

You’ll be the bridge connecting different aspects of our operations. Your schedule will be flexible, with 75% of your time spent in the office and the other 25% spent working in the field or from home once you’ve been fully trained and are comfortable in your position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of property management, including guest communications, reservations, and issue resolution, ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle administrative duties, including managing advertising efforts, updating signage, creating social media content, and writing newsletters to market properties and enhance guest engagement effectively.
  • Lead the onboarding of new properties, including setting up listings, managing short-term rental permits, and creating ski lease contracts.
  • Conduct off-season inventory checks, manage supplies delivery, and ensure operational efficiency by acting as a runner and inspector, particularly on busy weekends.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, maintaining clear and helpful communication across all platforms and building strong relationships with guests and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-starter and problem solver with the ability to identify tasks, follow through and create results.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, capable of providing high-quality service to guests.
  • Efficient in managing multiple tasks and projects with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends, advertising, and social media platforms, with the ability to create engaging content and promotional materials.
  • Excellent writing skills able to write property descriptions, newsletters, and other communications with an eye for detail and grammar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, quick to learn new technology, and adaptable to varying work schedules, including availability for on-call duties.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle and laptop, with a willingness to perform both office-based and field duties, including physical tasks and property inspections.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $27 - $32 based on experience and achievement

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including being on-call and available within 45 minutes of the service area when needed, especially during peak times, holidays, and in the absence of the owner.
