POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager at Helena Modern Riviera plays a key role in supporting the General Manager to ensure smooth daily front-of-house operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees scheduling, training, performance, and staff development while also assisting with inventory control, financial goals, and guest relations.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can coach, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Success in this role requires problem-solving skills, a commitment to upholding brand standards, and the ability to foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace while consistently delivering outstanding hospitality and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality and service.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and developing staff.
- Manage employee schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Uphold brand standards for service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost controls.
- Support financial goals by monitoring sales, labor, and operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality, restaurant, or food & beverage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and care.
- Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, including service standards, scheduling, and cost controls.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding brand standards.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $40,000 - $55,000
