POSITION SUMMARY:

Virtual Operations includes communicating with Guests, assigning tasks to housekeepers and repair techs, occasional admin tasks, and more. The assistant is responsible for making sure guests are taken care of, properties and bookings are being monitored properly, grounds staff is assigned tasks properly, etc.

The Virtual Operations Assistant must be very detail-oriented, adept at English, able to communicate easily and quickly with guests, be able to follow detailed checklists, be punctual, show up consistently, and be able to complete the same checklist day after day and overall.

You will be working closely with the operations manager.

It is important to be able to communicate smoothly and easily with guests in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with Airbnb Guests as needed for inquiries, questions/concerns, welcome messages, check-out reminders, complaints, etc.
  • Respond to guests within 5 minutes.
  • Coordinate with Cleaning Staff for each Guest Turnover
  • File Airbnb claims as needed
  • Coordinate Repairs and Supply Runs as needed
  • Assure that guest requirements are met before arrival
  • Report and File all issues related to the guest and the properties
  • Assign tasks to cleaning and maintenance staff
  • Submit guest reviews
  • Assisting in various other tasks
  • At times this will also include activities such as: updating listings, data entry, social media postings, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: 

  • at least some experience with in the Airbnb / STR space
  • adept at using the Google Suite (gDocs, gSheets, etc)
  • able to respond within 5 minutes to guest questions and inquiries
  • able to respond warmly to guests and be able to solve their problems / answer their questions
  • meticulous, conscientious, and comfortable with repeat tasks.
  • organized
  • able to respond immediately to team and guests
  • good attitude
  • organized
  • self-learner
  • good communication skills in English
  • able to type well as well as be able to pick up the phone and communicate well.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $6 - $8 per hour based on experience and achievement

Schedule: Full-time opportunity to work 40+ hours a week.
