Full Charge Accounting Specialist
Phoenix (Biltmore Area) | In-Office | Part-time | 40–45 Hours/Month
Established boutique law firm in the Phoenix Biltmore/Camelback Corridor is seeking a part-time Full Charge Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting operations.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the full accounting cycle—from transactional entry through monthly financial reporting—including law firm trust (IOLTA) accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in law firm accounting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting (A/P, A/R, general ledger)
- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Three-way IOLTA trust reconciliations in compliance with Arizona requirements
- Process and properly allocate client payments (including LawPay)
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Monitor A/R and assist with reporting on outstanding balances
- Work within firm systems, including MyCase (billing) and QuickBooks Online Advanced
Required Qualifications
- Law firm accounting experience required, including IOLTA/trust accounting
- 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Experience with MyCase and QuickBooks Online Advanced
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly Rate - $40.00 - $43.00
Schedule
- 40-45 hours per month, in-office (weekly schedule is flexible)
