POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Vacation Rental Inspector and Team Lead at StayCVP, you will play a vital role in upholding our high standards of cleanliness across all properties. Your sharp attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional stay. You’ll lead by example—conducting thorough pre-arrival inspections, identifying and addressing minor maintenance issues such as changing light bulbs, replacing remote and lock batteries, fixing blinds, and removing scuff marks from walls, while confirming that all amenities are in excellent working order.
You’ll also uphold CVP’s brand standards by modeling professionalism and proactive communication in the field. Success in this role requires independence, precision, clear communication, and the ability to support and motivate your team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough pre-arrival inspections to confirm properties meet CVP's standards for cleanliness, functionality, and presentation.
- Support fellow inspectors in the field by helping troubleshoot inspection issues and ensuring uniform quality across all properties.
- Track inspection completion and assist with daily routing, ensuring team coverage aligns with turnover schedules.
- Refine and update inspection checklists and processes for improved efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all guest essentials (toiletries, coffee station supplies, etc.) are stocked and property amenities are functioning properly.
- Inspect for any missed cleaning details, such as streaked surfaces, overlooked dust, or water spots, and correct as needed.
- Confirm all doors, windows, and security features are in proper working order.
- Verify that HVAC systems, appliances, and lighting are functioning correctly before guest arrival.
- Follow company protocols for property entry and departure, ensuring respect for owner and guest privacy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of experience working in hotels, short-term rentals, or hospitality-related roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify both cleaning and maintenance needs.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation between properties.
- A working smartphone capable of downloading and using work-related apps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document inspections and report issues.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without constant supervision.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods, walking through properties, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $24.00

10% bonus plan based on achievement to team-level goals

Schedule
