POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician who will play a key role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and guest-ready. In this role, you will handle a range of maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting appliances, cable, and Wi-Fi issues, performing basic HVAC repairs, and addressing light plumbing needs. You will also conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals to ensure all properties meet our quality standards.
You will collaborate with regional team members, provide cross-coverage when needed, and support guest or homeowner escalations with professionalism and urgency. While this role is currently part-time, there may be an opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance, skills, and company growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform maintenance tasks such as appliance troubleshooting, cable/Wi-Fi diagnostics, light plumbing, and basic HVAC repairs
- Assist with maintenance operations across an assigned portfolio of properties
- Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals
- Support escalated guest and homeowner concerns via email, calls, and ticketing systems
- Assist with housekeeping assignments when needed
- Maintain open, collaborative communication with regional team members and leadership
- Provide cross-coverage support for team members when required
- Uphold company standards for property quality, performance metrics, and responsiveness
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in general property maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or appliance troubleshooting
- Comfortable using laptops, tablets, and mobile devices for task tracking and communication
- Professional communication skills across email, phone, video, and text
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable, responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- High attention to detail and a proactive problem solver
- Prior housekeeping or short-term rental experience is a plus
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $21.00, depending on experience
