POSITION SUMMARY:
Alpine Property Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Crested Butte, CO. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance or building trades, with a strong work ethic, solid communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of maintenance tasks — from hauling trash and recycling, performing minor repairs, and maintaining outdoor areas to cleaning grills and patio furniture, mowing lawns, and completing small painting or caulking projects.
You may also assist with changing lightbulbs and fixtures, securing loose cabinet doors, balancing hot tubs, cleaning carpets, snow removal, or helping guests with simple troubleshooting such as TV or Wi-Fi setup. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and is dedicated to keeping our homes in excellent condition for owners and guests alike.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hauling trash and recycling – critical for cleanliness and turnover readiness.
- Changing lightbulbs and smoke alarm batteries/devices – safety and functionality.
- Changing out flush and fill valves on toilets – prevents leaks and guest complaints.
- General walkthrough of properties & noting/repairing issues – ensures proactive maintenance.
- Hot tub balancing – important for guest health, safety, and satisfaction.
- Lawn mowing and basic outdoor upkeep (raking, snow removal, etc.) – property appearance and access.
- Cleaning grills and wiping down patio furniture – high guest-touch amenities.
- General deck repair and small painting/caulking projects – protects asset condition and appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years experience in property maintenance, building trades, or a related field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, homeowners, and guests
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
- Hands-on problem solver with attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Must have a Driver's license and reliable transportation
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $40.00
