POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Director of Revenue Management to lead our pricing, occupancy, and revenue performance strategy. This individual will take ownership of designing and executing data-driven, methodical pricing and yield strategies to optimize revenue, occupancy, and profitability across a large portfolio of luxury properties.

The ideal candidate is analytical, conscientious, and reserved — someone who takes their work seriously, values structure, and excels in high-precision environments. They bring a deep understanding of hospitality revenue management and are driven by high standards of quality, accuracy, and follow-through.

This US-based Remote Contractor role will collaborate with internal departments including operations, marketing, finance, and technology to ensure goals are met. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revenue Optimization: Design and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue while balancing occupancy and profitability for each property.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Analyze historical booking trends, demand patterns, and market data to forecast performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee availability and rate plans across multiple channels to ensure optimal inventory utilization and rates.
  • Market Monitoring: Conduct regular competitor and market research to ensure we remain competitive and adjust pricing accordingly.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly performance reports (ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, revenue per unit) and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Align with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure strategies are integrated across departments and reflect broader business goals.
  • Channel Strategy: Optimize performance across distribution platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, direct website), in coordination with our Marketing department.
  • Budgeting & Planning: Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing detailed revenue projections and analysis.
  • Team building: Hire and train a top-performing revenue team as the company scales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue management, ideally within hospitality, short-term rentals, or hotel environments. Local Miami experience is a plus.
  • Advanced analytical skills. Proficiency in BI software (powerBI, Tableau or similar)..
  • Strong experience with revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS).
  • Proficiency in dynamic pricing tools such as Pricelabs, Wheelhouse, Beyond, AirDNA or Keydata
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Notion (preferred)
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both internal teams and stakeholders.
