POSITION SUMMARY:

Luxury Simplified is looking for a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to help us uphold the high standards of our luxury vacation properties in Bluffton, SC. In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to expert for a wide range of maintenance needs—from replacing filters and troubleshooting appliances to ensuring each property is safe, functional, and impeccably maintained.
You’ll play a vital part in creating unforgettable guest experiences and helping our operations run smoothly. No two days are the same, so if you're someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working both independently and with a team, we’d love to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, batteries, and other consumables
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Patch drywall, paint surfaces, repair doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Address and resolve minor appliance malfunctions
- Maintain units to ensure they meet all LSR Property Standard Guidelines
- Maintain clear and frequent communication with LSR Operations Staff for general maintenance and repairs as needed
- Assist in scheduling and overseeing third-party contractors for specialized repairs
- Report/document maintenance issues, damages, and resolutions
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and building regulations
- Assist with property deliveries and setups
- Help with seasonal tasks such as winterization, summer prep, storm prep, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Able to lift 50+lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, etc.)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activities frequently and cope with interruptions.

- Able to work flexible hours and days, weekends and holidays required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Range: $20 - $25 based on experience
