POSITION SUMMARY:
Fortuna Bakery is seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher/Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are properly washed and sanitized. In addition to dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher-cook will assist the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, cutting, and mixing ingredients, while adhering to recipes and portion control standards. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the dishwashing area in a clean and organized manner at all times
- Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen environment by performing regular cleaning tasks as assigned
- Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, cutting, mixing.
- Adhere to recipes and portion control standards as directed by the head cook of chef
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn new cooking techniques and recipes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment and appliances safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
- Spanish language
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Salary Range: $14 - $15
