POSITION SUMMARY:

Details are at the heart of Blue Gems Group's hospitality. As our expert Vacation Rental Cleaner and Inspector, you won’t just be maintaining rooms but creating the launch pad for extraordinary experiences by ensuring each property is spotless and in pristine condition. Each day, we take pride in restoring "lived-in" homes into clean, inviting spaces - ready to welcome the next guests. Our goal is to create an environment that is spotless, warm, and a true reflection of the luxury and comfort we are renowned for. In the capacity of an Inspector, you’ll methodically check each home for any issues that need to be addressed and stay on top of advising the maintenance team of any preventative maintenance that needs to be performed. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Housekeeping: Perform deep cleaning duties such as cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning living areas, restroom cleaning, and exterior touch-ups.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports to supervisors.
  • Safety Compliance: Report any safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with property managers and team members.
  • Documentation: Accurately document maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for further action.
  • Equipment and Tool Management: Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning equipment and materials. Report any equipment in need of repair or replacement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in housekeeping with an understanding of basic home repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and work efficiently in various environments.
  • Vocational training or certification in maintenance is a plus but not necessary.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Wage: $28,000 - $48,000 based on experience and achievement
