POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and thorough individual to join our team as our Vacation Property Quality Controller (Property Inspector).
You’re the right person for the job if you thrive in a stable, professional environment focused on delivering high-quality, precise work and enjoy commuting to multiple locations during your workday.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will visit our properties to conduct thorough inspections. During these inspections, you will identify and document any necessary preventative maintenance tasks.
You will find your knowledge of home maintenance and safety regulations helpful as you evaluate preventative maintenance work and repairs. Any significant item you find during your inspection must be reported immediately to ensure it is addressed as soon as possible to avoid disrupting any reservations.
As our “boots are on the ground,” we’ll also rely on you to ensure each property is adequately stocked, staged, and ready to welcome the next guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess overall condition and compliance with quality standards to ensure properties meet NBVP standards.
- Evaluate maintenance work completed by staff and contractors to ensure adherence to specifications and regulations.
- Identify and document deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the vacation team to prioritize repairs and improvements.
- Prepare detailed online inspection reports and communicate findings to property management.
- Participate in check-in and check-out inspections to verify property conditions.
- Focus on quality control standards and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in property management, construction, or a related field is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in property management or the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Confident in using a mobile device and a computer to document, take photos, and report issues.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - willing to use your personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is available.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
- Able to lift up to 20 LBS and walk up multiple staircases.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $22 - 27/ hour based on experience and achievement
Bonus: Potential monthly and yearly bonuses.

Schedule: Flexible schedule, 8 - 8.5 hours daily, 5 days a week, some weekends required
