Luxury Simplified is looking for a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to help us uphold the high standards of our luxury vacation properties in Bluffton, SC. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance services to ensure Luxury Simplified Retreats homes are maintained at the highest standards.

This hands-on role includes troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance across a portfolio of luxury vacation homes. The Technician will complete assigned work orders, document findings, and uphold Luxury Simplified Retreats brand standards of quality and service. Weekend and on-call availability is required.

You’ll play a vital part in creating unforgettable guest experiences and helping our operations run smoothly. No two days are the same, so if you're someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working both independently and with a team, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner

• Perform hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and appliance repair tasks as required

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on homes and equipment

• Identify additional maintenance issues during service visits and report findings to the Operations Manger

• Maintain accurate documentation of al completed work through company systems

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards

• Assist with property audits, inspections, and new property onboarding as needed

• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues

• Support seasonal maintenance projects as assigned

• A/V system + internet/router troubleshooting

• Installation, positioning, and secure mounting of furniture, televisions, and electronic equipment

• Perform additional duties assigned by Operations Manager or Director or Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years of previous experience in a maintenance technician or similar hands-on role

• Working knowledge of home systems: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC support, and appliances

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Proficiency with mobile devices and basic computer software

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Weekend, holiday, and on-call availability

• Able to lift 75+lbs and perform physical tasks

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation: $60,000 Annual Salary
