Job Description

Launch Operations Manager

Remote, U.S. | up to 80% Travel

Company Overview

Boulevard Stays gives travelers the comfort of an apartment with the consistency of a hotel. We run a lean, AI-native operation in partnership with apartment owners and developers.

  • 290 units in more than 20 buildings across Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, Chicago, and Columbus

  • Profitable and bootstrapped since 2020, with no outside capital

  • On a path to 1,000 units in the coming years

Our Core Values

Better Together – Great teams outperform individual contributors. We work together and support each other.

Never Enough – Continuous improvement is our standard, regardless of position or tenure. It is how we compete with much larger companies.

Mean It – We own our commitments and our results. We keep our word and solve problems rather than assign blame.

Position Summary

The Launch Operations Manager takes every new building from signed agreement to first guest. You order everything, get it delivered and installed, and make sure every unit is ready on the committed date. You report to the Director of Operations.

The planning is the easy part. The hard part is the last ten days on site, when the sofas arrive damaged, the locksmith doesn’t show and guests are booked for Friday. There is no separate install team. You are the launch team.

Who This Is For

  • You are the person your current company calls when a project is in trouble

  • You would rather be on a plane to a launch than at a desk

  • You think on your feet and the date still holds

  • You work hard, including long days, and expect to be paid for results

  • You want to build the launch function at a fast-growing startup, not inherit one

What We Offer You

  • Full ownership of launches: your plan, your budget, your vendors

  • An annual bonus of up to 10% of base salary for delivering launches on time and on budget

  • A direct line to the founder and the Director of Operations

  • A path to leading the launch team as our volume grows

Key Responsibilities

  • Walk each new property early and build a working relationship with the on-site staff

  • Build the launch plan, budget and critical path for every building

  • Order all furniture, equipment and supplies for every unit

  • Manage freight, storage and delivery so everything arrives before the install

  • Select, train and manage local crews for delivery, installation and staging

  • Get locks, Wi-Fi, TVs and thermostats installed and tested

  • Inspect every unit yourself and close the punch list

  • Stay as the operations point person for the first few weeks after opening

  • Improve the launch playbook after every building

Results

  • 95%+ of launches go live on the committed date

  • 95%+ of launches finish within the approved budget

  • 95%+ of units pass inspection the first time

  • 98%+ of orders arrive before the install date

  • No critical blocker stays open for more than 48 hours

  • Every unit is photo-ready and guest-ready before the first reservation

  • You own your first launch end to end within 90 days

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years running openings, FF&E installs or multi-site projects in hospitality, short-term rentals, multifamily or hotels

  • A record of physical projects delivered on time and on budget

  • Experience buying furniture and supplies in volume and managing freight

  • Experience selecting and managing contractor crews

  • Working knowledge of smart TVs, Wi-Fi locks, smart thermostats and routers

  • Strong with budgets, spreadsheets and project tools such as Asana

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary

$85,000–$100,000, depending on experience

Bonus

Benefits

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Medical insurance stipend

  • All launch travel paid

  • Discounted stays at Boulevard Stays properties

Location & Schedule

  • Remote in the U.S., within easy reach of a major airport

  • Trips usually run a week or more

  • Launch weeks are long days and often include nights and weekends

  • Between launches you work standard business hours, remotely
