Position Summary
Miami Vacation Rentals is seeking a warm, guest-focused Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of Hotel Arya. You’ll greet guests, support them throughout their stay, and work with other departments to make sure their needs are met. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, stays calm when things get busy, and takes pride in making every guest feel at home.
What You’ll Do
Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns with professionalism and care.
Manage reservations, room assignments, and availability using Visual Matrix PMS.
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate billing records.
Update guest profiles, preferences, and special requests.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs and ensure rooms are ready.
Communicate clearly with guests and team members in person, by phone, and by email.
Document important updates in shift handoff notes and logs.
Resolve guest complaints with empathy, escalating issues when needed.
Follow hotel procedures for emergencies, incidents, and other special situations.
Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and welcoming.
Uphold Hotel Arya’s standards for appearance, communication, and guest service.
Support room upgrade, amenity, and hotel service upselling initiatives.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience using a property management system or similar hotel software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Basic math skills and accurate cash handling.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of front desk, guest services, or hospitality experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Degree in hospitality or tourism.
Compensation, Benefits & More
Compensation: $16 per hour
Bonus: Performance bonus
Benefits:
120 hours of cumulative PTO starting in the first year
