Position Summary

Louis Berk Law in Orlando, FL is seeking a warm, detail-oriented Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll work closely with our attorneys and paralegals to provide administrative and litigation support while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients and witnesses. You'll help coordinate schedules and deadlines, obtain important case documentation, prepare files for mediation and trial, and ensure details are handled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, conference calls, calendars, and litigation deadlines for attorneys.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and case support to attorneys and paralegals.

  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, witnesses, and other case-related contacts.

  • Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and other documentation for litigation cases.

  • Assist with preparing and organizing case files for mediations and trials.

  • Conduct investigations and documentary or statistical research and help locate case-relevant information.

  • Answer and direct phone calls, maintain contact information, and support accurate case-related communication and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

  • 1+ years of relevant legal, administrative, or professional office experience.

  • Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate empathetically and navigate sensitive or challenging situations with tact.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

  • Ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and multiple priorities accurately.

  • Comfortable learning and working within new systems, processes, and technology.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and other members of the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal environment.

  • Previous litigation or personal injury experience.

  • Experience working with legal case management or document management systems.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

Annual Salary

$55,000 - $65,000
