Position Summary

A Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including breads, pastries, and other baked goods, following established recipes and quality standards.

The role involves measuring ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, operating baking equipment, and ensuring products are baked to perfection.

Bakers must maintain consistency, freshness, and presentation in every item produced.

In addition, the Baker is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and managing time efficiently to meet daily production needs.

Attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to quality are essential to ensure that every product reflects the standards of the bakery.

What You'll Do

• • Prepare and bake products following established recipes and company standards.

  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.

  • Ensure all products meet presentation and quality expectations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

  • Follow food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.

  • Manage production timing to ensure freshness and availability of products throughout the day.

  • Assist the manager with inventory and any other needs related to your position.

Required Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills

• Good communication and ability to interact with customers

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Good time management and multitasking abilities

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Previous experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous baking experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant

• Bilingual: English & Spanish

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Variable from 5:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
