Better Talent ("BT")

1. INTRODUCTION

BT has a responsibility to protect and preserve the private information of every applicant applying through BT and/or its clients. BT takes that responsibility seriously. This Privacy Policy is provided by BT, Inc. to inform applicants about the activities relative to the handling of personal data concerning applicants ADP ("Applicant Personal Data" or "APD"), namely information that identifies you as a specific individual. This Privacy Policy covers all individuals applying for roles offered through BT, including applications for all types of permanent and non-permanent positions.

2. APD BT collects

2.1 APD Provided Directly By You

During the application, recruitment, and onboarding process at BT, we may collect, store and process the following types of APD directly from you:

  • Identification and contact details, such as your name, address, telephone, and email address
  • Job application information, such as academic and professional qualifications, CV/résumé, transcripts, employment references, cover letters, information from interviews, compensation/benefits requests, relocation information, and any other information you provide to us in support of and during the recruitment process
  • Information about your work eligibility, such as immigration status, work authorizations, and visas
  • Behavioral assessments and cognitive tests, retaining results and using for future intent
  • Recorded video interviews

2.2 APD Provided by Third Parties

BT may also collect information about you from third parties or public sources as needed to support our recruitment process. We also may conduct background screenings through a third-party service provider.

2.3 Legal Basis for Processing

BT collects and processes your APD based on different legal grounds: Performance of a Contract, Legitimate Interest, Compliance with a Legal Obligation, and Consent. You can withdraw your consent by emailing Recruiting@bettertalent.com with "APD Withdraw Consent" in the subject line.

3. Purposes of Processing

APD is used for: determining qualifications and skills, right to work verification, background checks, communication during recruitment, managing the recruitment process, and communicating about other potential roles.

4. Disclosures and Transfers

BT will not share APD for purposes unrelated to this Privacy Policy without consent. BT will not sell your APD. Transfers are performed in compliance with applicable data protection rules.

5. Security

BT is committed to keeping your information safe and secure with extreme precautions.

6. Retention

BT and its affiliates may retain information to contact you about future positions. To opt out, email Recruiting@bettertalent.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to rectify, object to processing, access, port, and delete your APD. Email Recruiting@bettertalent.com with "APD Request" as the subject line.
