POSITION SUMMARY:

Southern Belle Vacation Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Full-Time Vacation Rental Property Inspector to join our team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. As a Vacation Rental Property Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards of quality.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to various weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Your keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and addressing any maintenance issues, as well as troubleshooting technical concerns related to modems, cable boxes, and streaming devices. By collaborating with our housekeeping, maintenance, and office staff, you will contribute to providing an exceptional experience for our valued guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough property inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Identify and document any signs of wear and tear.
- Complete inspection checklists for assigned properties.
- Verify homeware inventory and report missing items.
- Submit maintenance requests through a mobile app.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and office teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve common TV and WiFi connectivity issues, including troubleshooting modems, DVD players, cable boxes, Direct TV, Roku, and Fire Stick.
- Utilize the app and Outlook to enter and communicate maintenance requests.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Work in diverse weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow.
- Stand for prolonged periods (at least two hours at a time).
- Frequently walk, climb stairs, kneel, reach, crawl, and twist as needed.
- Push and pull carts transporting linens and trash.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds without assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in housekeeping and hospitality is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Must have a clean driving record and have your own vehicle.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation: $22 an hour
