We are seeking an experienced Lead Housekeeper to oversee the cleaning team here at Urban Stay. This position will include training, scheduling, and inspecting homes to ensure they always meet our standards and protocols.

In order to succeed in this position, you must possess a friendly and positive attitude, be able to delegate effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines so that our homes are always in tip-top shape to welcome our guests.

A typical day will involve coordinating cleanings between check-outs and check-ins, scheduling and communicating with our contractors and performing inspections to maintain uniform quality standards that are on brand with our commitment to excellence.


  • Provide management and leadership to cleaning contractors.
  • Implement and maintain our cleaning standards and protocols.
  • Train, schedule, and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure timely & efficient turnovers.
  • Report any issues, such as repairs, to the General Manager.
  • Perform property inspections to ensure that each home is adequately stocked with consumables and that quality standards are met.


  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Reach overhead and below the waist
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist


  • 2+ years of housekeeping experience, preferably in the vacation rental or hotel industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in a management position.
  • Familiarity with Breezeway is desired.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using phone apps and computers.
  • Extremely task-oriented with high standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record and access to reliable transportation.


Annual Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 based on achievement and experience

Bonus Details: Bonus based on individual and company performance
