POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a scrappy self-starter with strong communication skills looking for a remote sales role where your work actually matters?

Jervis Systems is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help expand our white-label partnerships and direct customer base. This is a part-time, hourly 1099 contract role (10–20 hours/week to start) with commission and bonus opportunities, and a clear path to a full-time role as the company grows. You’ll work closely with our Communications Lead and report directly to the Founder, playing a hands-on role in shaping how we approach partnerships, outreach, and early-stage sales execution.

This role is well-suited for someone excited by the startup environment - where responsibilities evolve, initiative is valued, and impact is visible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

White Label Partnership Development (Primary Focus):

  • Research and identify potential white label partnership opportunities within the hotel, property management, and hospitality tech space
  • Conduct outreach to decision-makers at target companies through email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Lead and assist with discovery calls/demos to showcase the benefits of Jervis Systems' white label automation solution
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential white label partners throughout the sales cycle
  • Track partnership pipeline and provide regular updates on progress and opportunities

Customer Acquisition & Referrals:

  • Generate new customer leads through networking, referrals, and outreach activities
  • Help us build out a lead qualification system and quality inbound leads, and schedule demo calls
  • Follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel
  • Build relationships that lead to customer referrals and word-of-mouth growth

General Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, communications, and opportunities
  • Stay up to date on product features, updates, and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and positioning
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences as opportunities arise (virtual and in-person)
  • Provide feedback to the team on common objections, market needs, and competitive insights

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 Year of Sales Experience: Previous sales or business development experience in hotel operations, property management, or hospitality technology is ideal for this role
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, comfortable presenting to potential partners and customers
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Proven ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and take initiative to hit targets
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning new software platforms and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple prospects and partnerships simultaneously while maintaining accurate records
  • Interest in PropTech/Hospitality: Genuine curiosity about the short-term rental industry, property management, and smart home technology is key

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate:$30/hour (1099) + commissions + bonus

Schedule: Part-time, 10–20 hours per week to start

  • Flexibility: Async-friendly; demo calls typically scheduled between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (weekdays)
  • Growth Path: Strong performance and increased scope may lead to a full-time role
