Responsibilities:
EDSI has an immediate opening for a Roadway Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 2-15 years of experience and have a strong interest in being involved in technically detailed design work, interacting with clients and contractors, coordinating with utilities and public agencies, as well as resolving design issues that may include performing field investigations.
Responsibilities include a broad range of planning and design tasks such as roadway design, roadway rehabilitation, ADA compliant designs, bike & pedestrian trail design, traffic signal design, geometric layout, drainage/hydraulics, and quantity development. The position requires competent skills to complete feasibility reports and prepare conceptual, preliminary, and construction plans and bid documents for a variety of public and private clients.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-Accredited University
- 2-15 years of experience with P.E. license or plan to receive P.E. license
- Proficiency in Microstation or AutoCAD with an understanding of construction and bid documents including project specifications. A team player with an ability to work cohesively with strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
