POSITION SUMMARY:

Step into a leading role as the Restaurant Manager of Franklin Café, where tradition meets the present. In this role, you'll be more than just a manager; you'll be the captain of the ship, steering the team through daily operations and ensuring that our guests leave with an experience to remember.

This job calls for someone who knows the ins and outs of the restaurant business but also understands the close-knit Apalachicola community. Each day, you'll oversee the crew and make sure we're stocked up and running smoothly. You’ll also be the point person when things get hectic. Independence, confidence, and a talent for seeing the big picture are crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and ensure adherence to company policies, training, and restaurant procedures.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, food quality, and customer satisfaction; address and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Manage staff scheduling, track hours, and oversee accurate end-of-day cashouts.
  • Order necessary supplies while adhering to budget constraints and monitor operational costs.
  • Supervise daily front- and back-of-house operations, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals and lead recruitment and interviewing efforts.
  • Engage with guests to garner feedback and continuously improve service and product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-year minimum of restaurant management experience.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
