Harris Vacation Rentals is a locally owned boutique vacation rental company specializing in luxury rentals in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring all vacation home rentals are
maintained at the highest standard. Management responsibilities include leading a team,
working with vendors, and basic day-to-day operations. The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the COO/CFO.


Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
● Understand and achieve Company and departmental goals
● Develop departmental metrics and track weekly
● Manage departmental expenses vs budget
● Conduct weekly manager inspections
● Set up inventory system and review weekly
● Monitor and continuously improve the daily operation
● Review and approve payroll on a timely basis
● Schedule team members and duties
● Shop/order for kitchen inventories and damage waiver items
● Review Company point central report and discuss with maintenance supervisor
● Conduct meetings with cleaners/vendors to communicate changes, updates, etc.
● Interview candidates for available positions
● Update processes, procedures, and guidelines to improve the operation
● Troubleshoot daily unplanned issues that occur
● Continuous self-education to improve system knowledge and share with team
● Assist the warehouse as needed
● Monitor questions/answer calls on the Company system
● Review voicemails/text messages and respond promptly


Previous vacation rental and/or operation experience is preferred.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Experience with managing the departmental budget

● Comfortable conducting meetings and training sessions with the team
● Adept with office equipment and the ability to work remotely with a reliable phone,
computer and Wi-Fi
● Excellent customer service skills
● The aptitude to learn and understand the vacation rental industry
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
● High school diploma or associate’s degree


Salary: $50,000.00
