POSITION SUMMARY:
The right candidate to step into the role of Product Development Specialist will need to have experience and the ability to design and work alongside furniture manufacturers to create a bespoke FF&E modular package while being universally tasteful and economical for our entire portfolio of properties.
Your responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to ensuring that our designs are in line with our branding, that the warehouse fulfillment is on time, as well as liaising with our homeowners to help them understand each step of the construction phase. Experience in working with overseas suppliers to create a high-quality, standardized OS&E package will also be imperative to your success.
As the Product Development Specialist, you will work in our Miami offices alongside our team of ambitious and supportive co-workers focused on establishing the next level of luxury travel. Are you ready to take on travel in style?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and work with furniture manufacturers to create a custom FF&E package
- Ensure that the design is economical, functional, and aligns with our branding and decor philosophy
- Oversee the design and procurement process, ensuring on-time delivery to our warehouses and new properties.
- Relentless in the pursuit of cost-saving ways to create decor in-house.
- Work with overseas suppliers to develop a high-quality, standardized OS&E package.
- Design common areas such as our new buildings' lobbies, rooftops, dining areas, and co-working spaces.
- Help our owner and partners understand our brand standards during construction and effectively communicate our vision and long-term benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience designing furniture using AutoCAD required.
- 2 + years of experience in interior and furniture design, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
- A solid network of furniture manufacturers.
- Proven negotiation skills and demonstrated understanding of the value of a dollar.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or related field.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $45,000 - $65,000
Bonus Details: Quarterly performance bonus up to 15% or quarterly salary
