POSITION SUMMARY:
Do you have a sunny disposition and love the beach and ocean? This may be the perfect job for you! Many communities on Saint Simons experience an influx of guests; including leisure travelers, families and property owners from April until August. To make their visit more enjoyable, pool patrol staff are available at many oceanfront communities. Get to know owners and their families as they come and go from the beach when checking them in. Meet visitors new to the area and offer directions, suggestions to local activities, your favorite restaurants or share new additions to the area! This is a great opportunity for an outgoing and energetic team member to gain experience in travel, tourism and the hospitality field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests and owners with enthusiasm.
- Work as a team
- Check guests and owners in by last name and unit number
- Follow direction from leadership
- Remove trash from workspace daily
- Provide information and suggestions when asked
- Follow and complete a daily checklist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outgoing and energetic Personality
- Reliable transportation
- Able to follow a predetermined schedule
- Able to arrive at the designated place at a scheduled time
- Must be able to be outside for periods of time
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly: $11.00 - $13.00
