POSITION SUMMARY:

We seek a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Manager. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment that aligns with our company’s values and strategic objectives.

As our People and Culture Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the company culture, ensuring that Maya Luxe remains a top employer in the luxury vacation industry.

This position involves championing our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through your actions, both strategic and operational, you will help drive the growth and evolution of our employees. In your role, you will implement HR standard processes and lead activities such as recruitment, performance evaluation, team formation, and organizational design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide full-scope HR support to leaders, including executive coaching, employee relations, compensation, structure and leveling, culture development, organizational design, and people development
  • Provide timely mentorship and advice to managers to resolve employee issues and concerns efficiently.
  • Participate in defining and promoting the employer branding.
  • Lead the recruitment process from the analysis of need to the integration and follow up of talents.
  • Be a partner in the development and strengthening of Maya Luxe’s culture.
  • Build the appropriate HR systems, policies, and programs to optimize growth and performance.
  • Connect and support People Managers as needed, including outside Mexico.
  • Ensure an inclusive approach in all areas of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5+ years of prior HR leadership, HRBP, and/or Recruiting experience with at least two years in a hospitality environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally focused on business, HR, or related fields.
  • An ability to build positive interpersonal relationships with Managers, peers, and cross-functional teams alike (Local and Global).
  • Leadership skills to think strategically and bring positive changes to the organization.

Language Requirements: 

  • Professional fluency in English & Spanish
