POSITION SUMMARY:

This is the opportunity to use that gift and your expertise to further our impact on luxury vacation rental properties in Ocean City and the Delaware Beaches Area.

As Operations Manager, your core mission will be to streamline our operations, enhancing both guest satisfaction and our bottom line. You'll be at the helm of ensuring each property in our portfolio is meticulously maintained, safeguarding its value and ensuring it's always ready for the next check-in.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating multiple departments, navigating operational hurdles, and guiding our teams to continue to uphold our high service standards. You'll also be our boots on the ground, visiting properties and overseeing repairs and maintenance to guarantee that our properties meet the OEV standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and repairs while overseeing the upkeep of rental properties, ensuring they meet safety standards and are guest-ready. Manage the end-to-end guest experience.
  • Lead and train staff and contractors, including cleaning and maintenance crews, to maintain high service standards and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational systems, review and optimize processes for productivity, and ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols.
  • To maintain financial oversight and assist with financial management tasks, including budgeting, expense tracking, invoice management, and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning for business growth and operational enhancements and use technology to streamline property management and communication.
  • Maintain strong relationships with property owners, manage new property onboarding, and perform regular quality assurance inspections to uphold the company's high standards.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks, visit properties, and demonstrate flexibility and commitment to excellence in property management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in operations management within hospitality, real estate, or short-term rental sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire teams, with a knack for maintaining high team morale.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Technological proficiency, especially with property management systems and various communication platforms.
  • Resilient and adaptable, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while upholding professional standards.
  • A track record of accountability and reliability, with responsiveness as a core trait, and local market knowledge, is advantageous.

Annual Salary: Up to $65,000 based on experience and achievement.
