POSITION SUMMARY:

What is the primary goal of the role? 

Your primary mission as the Operations Manager is to elevate and refine the processes of our Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Linen departments. You will be at the heart of ensuring we meet our targets, improve inter-departmental collaboration, and set new standards for operational efficiency.

You'll monitor and improve operational metrics, work with executive members to foster collaboration, and skillfully handle challenges, whether an emergency or a resolution needed, with our valued guests and owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Linen departments, ensuring efficient work order completions, high-quality vendor performance, and streamlined linen operations.
  • Supervise direct reports, conduct regular one-on-ones, and collaborate with executive team members to drive operational goals.
  • Analyze departmental data to optimize processes, oversee the implementation of new standard operating procedures, and lead weekly Operations L10 meetings.
  • Coordinate and implement emergency management plans, ensuring the safety and security of operations.
  • Assist the Sales/Finance Manager in budgeting, managing expenses, and maintaining inventory controls to minimize waste.
  • Oversee the vehicle maintenance program and manage the Breezeway software to ensure optimal department functionality.
  • Engage in resolving issues with Owners and Guests, ensuring their satisfaction and maintaining the brand's reputation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Vacation rental experience preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and friendly personality
  • Able to handle working at a fast pace, managing short deadlines and stressful situations
  • A working knowledge of PMS is desirable.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter able to work independently as well as on a team

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience and achievement.
