Sounds pretty great, right? As our Operations Assistant, this is exactly what your day would look like.

Currently, our team is looking for an enthusiastic Operations Assistant (OA) to help manage and oversee our studio and 1-2-bedroom apartments in San Antonio.

In this role, you’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground for Stay Nixon. You’ll work independently and treat every apartment like it’s your own, ensuring that all of our suites are well-maintained and up to our standards.

Our company takes reliability seriously, and if you say you'll do something, we need to trust you'll ensure it's done. We’re also seeking someone who can be prompt and consistently arrive on time for each scheduled shift.

Perform daily quality inspections of our properties after guest checkouts with an eye for detail as well as perform administrative tasks

  • Ensure any discrepancies found are reported to guest services, the cleaning team and followed up on so apartments are back in order before the next check-in.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as trash removal, delivering supplies and linens, performing minor repairs, and restocking items as necessary.
  • Communicate daily and consistently over the Slack app with the cleaning team, guest services, and management.
  • Meet and greet guests occasionally, and respond to their needs in a welcoming and professional manner.


  • Reliable transportation & a valid driver's license are required.
  • Able to use apps to communicate effectively with others on your smartphone
  • Detail-oriented and obsessive about quality.
  • Willing and able to work for long periods of time on your feet, with the ability to squat, bend over, and able to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Subject to random drug testing.


Hourly Wage: $17.00 -$18.00 / hour

  • Double pay on holidays

Schedule: Part-time hours of approximately 25-30 hrs per week, typically between 9:30 and 4 pm, Tuesday thru Sunday.
