POSITION SUMMARY:
Open interviews Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12 pm - 2 pm 2824 Willa View Drive, Pigeon Forge
We're searching for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our cabin rental team. As a key part of our crew, your job will be to keep our properties running
smoothly. From basic repairs to wall patching and touch-up painting, your role will ensure our cabins stay in tip-top shape and our guests enjoy a hassle-free stay.
To be our ideal candidate, you must have maintenance experience and be a pro at troubleshooting issues as they arise. Each day will bring something new as you conduct preventive maintenance routines and respond to any calls during our guest’s stay. That means you'll need a valid driver's license and a love for being on the road, knowing your way around the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area.
To serve our guests, this job requires evening, weekend, and on-call shifts where you’ll work in a tight-knit, family-like environment, earn competitive pay, and enjoy solid benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, repair, and maintain all property aspects, including homes, equipment, furniture, and systems, to identify any issues, ensuring tasks are completed in time for guest arrival.
- Conduct indoor pool/spa maintenance, including cleaning, treating, and managing chemicals and equipment.
- Execute routine maintenance and general tasks like landscaping, painting, and carpentry while addressing issues like broken or leaking plumbing.
- Make sure the property is functional and safe by performing preventive maintenance.
- Manage heating and plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment, and fix potential safety hazards promptly to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma preferred but not required
- Home maintenance experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets
- Able to access email to send reports and pictures
- Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks
- Must successfully pass drug screening and background check
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with a clean driving history
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $25.00 based on experience and achievement
