POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Litigation Associate with at least 4 years of experience in complex business litigation. Experience in probate litigation is a valuable plus. Expertise in client-facing interactions and case management is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable state and federal rules for filing with court;
- Supervise and edit written discovery, subpoenas, and disclosure statements;
- File management, including supervision of case organization;
- Legal research as needed;
- High-quality persuasive writing;
- Depositions, including preparing, taking, preparing witnesses, and defending;
- Settlement negotiations and mediations/settlement conferences;
- All aspects of trial
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Manage client relationships and ensure client’s needs are being met.
- An interest in business development is a big plus.
- Manage cases from engagement to completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Maintaining an active and good-standing license to practice law.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with an Arizona license.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $130,000 - $200,000
Bonus: Bonus consideration.
