Position Summary:

We recognize that working in the hospitality field requires a unique skill set. To succeed as our Director of Housekeeping Operations, you must prioritize guest experience and ensure that each property exceeds our guest's expectations. You must understand that a high level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence is vital in creating repeat loyal customers. To accomplish this, you must be highly organized and strategic, with an exceptional ability to understand and meet clients' needs. In this role, we will depend on you to work closely with our General Manager using your experience and skills to design and lead a housekeeping department to maintain these standards across all of our properties.


  • Assist our General Manager in building our Housekeeping Department to service 80+ properties
  • Manage the various moving parts of the Housekeeping Department, including 1099 cleaners, W2 cleaners, bed-making team, and linen vendors
  • Hire, train, supervise, and retain a team of cleaning, and bed-making staff 
  • Clean properties consistently at Seachange standard and ensure fellow W2 staff and 1099 uphold those standards.
  • Prepare schedules and assign duties to staff
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning and linen supplies
  • Inspect properties before and after guest/owner stays
  • Coordinate with guests, owners, and Seachange management to resolve issues and report your team’s work.
  • Ability and willingness to perform the duties of those on your team, as needed


  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Reach overhead and below the waist
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist


  • To be a strategic thinker, detail-oriented, and creatively manage operations
  • To be guest-experience obsessed
  • To have previous experience in housekeeping management in the hotel and/or vacation rental industry. 
  • Experience in building, training, and supervising a housekeeping team
  • The ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • To have excellent time management skills, be able to change activities frequently, and cope with interruptions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to maintain a clean record
  • Flexible schedule with weekend availability


Annual Salary: 

  • $40,000 - $60,000 to be determined based on experience
