POSITION SUMMARY:

Take a management role where every detail matters, and your team leadership skills have the power to propel us to greater heights. As our Housekeeping Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our Housekeeping Department, orchestrating perfect cleans by overseeing our cleaning personnel so that each property is staged and ready to welcome our guests from the moment they swipe their key card.

Daily tasks will include scheduling, inspections, monitoring our cleaning supplies, and ensuring our equipment is in good working condition. We’ll also rely on you to manage administrative tasks such as budgets and overseeing payrolls. But most importantly, it will be up to you to lead a team of rockstar cleaners and inspectors to continue to exceed our guest's expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate the physical condition of rental properties, select appropriate cleaning materials for various surfaces, and determine necessary work and potential improvements.
  • Oversee staff training in workplace policies, procedures, and equipment use and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and service quality.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies and equipment availability while maintaining equipment in proper working order.
  • Review and recommend personnel actions based on employee performance, and maintain records of work hours, budgets, payrolls, and other information for 1099 employees (Cleaner & Inspectors).
  • Establish and implement operational standards and procedures, proposing innovative changes to enhance service quality and increase operational efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on activity, personnel, facility usage, work performed, and departmental expenses.
  • Conduct pre-owner arrival inspections and be available to assist with pre-storm prep and post-storm damage assessment of rental homes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 1-2 years of Experience in Vacation Rental/ Housekeeping preferred.
